Job summary

Merchants Auto in Hooksett, NH is seeking experienced automotive technicians to join a fast-paced, high-volume shop. You’ll perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, with access to ASE‑certified training and mentorship from senior technicians.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years automotive repair experience.
• Three ASE Certifications or equivalent OEM certifications preferred.
• Ability to obtain certifications within one year if not currently certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brakes, fluids, filters, and tire replacement.
• Diagnose and repair steering, suspension, exhaust, and other undercarriage systems.
• Conduct multipoint inspections for customer and resale vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair drivability concerns on gasoline-powered passenger vehicles and light trucks.
• Utilize scan tools and diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle issues.
• Perform interior and exterior trim repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair vehicle electrical systems (Class A technicians).
