Job summary

Merchants Auto in Hooksett, NH is seeking experienced Automotive Technicians (Class A & B) to join a fast-paced service team. You will work on a wide range of vehicles, perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and undercarriage repairs, while benefiting from mentorship from Lead Technicians and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of automotive repair experience.
• Three ASE Certifications or equivalent OEM certifications preferred.
• Ability to obtain certifications within one year if not currently certified.
• Class A requires 5+ years of repair experience and 7 ASE certs preferred.
• Master ASE certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, brakes, fluids, filters, tires.
• Diagnose and repair steering, suspension, exhaust and undercarriage systems.
• Conduct multipoint inspections for customer and resale vehicles.
• Diagnose drivability concerns on gasoline-powered passenger vehicles and light trucks.
• Use scan tools and diagnostic equipment to identify issues.
• Perform interior and exterior trim repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair vehicle electrical systems (Class A).
