Job summary
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an Automotive Technician to join a team at multiple U.S. service centers. This full-time role offers a flat-rate structure with a 75% hour guarantee and opportunities for ASE and MAC certifications as you grow with Goodyear.
You will diagnose, repair, and maintain automotive systems, mentor peers, and uphold safety and quality standards in a busy service environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years' automotive repair experience or three years in military vehicle maintenance.
- Valid driver's license and ability to work flexible hours including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Preferred ASE A4/A5 certifications, state inspection license, or MAC certification.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive systems including brakes, suspension, and engine performance.
- Troubleshoot problems and demonstrate strong diagnostic skills using the latest technology.
- Mentor teammates and continually learn as automotive technology evolves.
- Maintain high safety, service, and housekeeping standards while using protective equipment.
- Perform manual tasks such as lifting tires and standing for extended periods.
