Job summary

AAA The Auto Club Group is seeking an Automotive Technician C to perform routine maintenance, basic repairs, and diagnostics on diverse vehicles, including diesel and hybrid models. You’ll work with experienced technicians, gain hands-on instruction, and contribute to safe, reliable vehicles and excellent customer service in a fast-paced shop.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or technical training, a valid driver’s license, and at least 6 months’ relevant automotive experience or

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 6 months’ relevant experience in automotive repair or completion of a formal automotive training program.
• Knowledge of automotive and/or truck systems, tools, and technical resources and training to independently perform basic repairs.
• Understand and maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service and improve customer service scores.

Responsibilities

• In an efficient and productive manner, perform basic automotive repairs, adjustments and maintenance procedures as outlined on repair order for which Technician is trained.
• Drives vehicles into service bay, prepares them for service and completes digital vehicle inspection.
• Test drives vehicles and prepares vehicle for delivery to customer after necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Maintains cleanliness of shop and work areas, performs other duties as necessary.

Position Schedule / Shift:

Service center hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., andSaturday,8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Schedule and shift assignments will depend on the position.

Position Summary:

As an AutomotiveTechnician C,you’llperform routine maintenance, basic repairs, and diagnostic work on a variety of vehicles, including diesel and hybrid models. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship. Working alongside experienced technicians,you’llgain hands‑on experience, develop your technical skills, and contribute to delivering safe, reliable vehicles and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Understand and consistentlydemonstratethe proper use of equipment and tools used in such repair and maintenance, as well as the need tomaintaina clean, safe, and organized work area.

• Ability to consistently provide exceptional customer service and improve customer service score

Preferred

• ASE Certifications (ortheir equivalent). A4-Suspension & Steering, A5-Brakes

• G1-Auto Maintenance & Light Repair preferred

• State inspection certificate,where applicable

• AC 609 Certification

• Must havetheirown toolsappropriate fortheir skill level for use in the Center.

Work Environment:

• May experience loud noises and odors intermittently in the shop environment.

Compensation

• TechnicianCswill earn a competitivehourly rateof$17.00 - $25.00.

Time Off & Leave

• Paid Time Off (PTO): Accrual-based, increases with tenure, eligible at90 daysof employment.

• Full-time new employees will receive up to 12 PTO days annually; accrual based on start date and may includeadditionalPTO based on role and/or state & local requirements.

• Part-time employee PTO hours are calculated based upon the standard weekly hours the employee is scheduled to work and willaccrueat a minimum of 3 hours per month.

• Paid Holidays:

• Full-time employees are eligible for 10 company-paid holidays annually, in addition to 1 mental health day, 2 floatingholidaysand 1 volunteer day. Holidays vary by business unit schedules.

• Part-time employees are eligible for 8 company-paid holidays annually, in addition to 1 mental health day and 2 floating holidays. Holidays vary by business unit schedules.
