Job summary

Jiffy Lube International is seeking an Automotive Technician at our St Paul, MN service center. You will service guests' vehicles, perform lubrication, brakes, tires, and other mechanical tasks with the training provided.

You will use shop programs, diagnose issues, communicate with guests, and help maintain a clean, organized workstation. This is a full-time position with benefits including 401k, medical/dental/vision, DailyPay, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• 1-3 Years of Automotive Experience.
• 1-2 Years of Brake Systems experience.
• ASE certification in Brakes (A5) preferred; ASE certifications in Engine Performance, Suspension & Steering, Electrical, Heating & AC preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive tech school degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care.
• Provide clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
• Maintain a clean and presentable service center workstation.
• Perform complete disc or drum brake service including replacement of components and brake flushes.
• Diagnose braking system issues and address engine, suspension, electrical, or HVAC components as needed.
• Use shop software to provide estimates for parts and labor.
• Road-test vehicles before/after to verify work is completed to standard.
