Job summary

Empire Automotive Group Audi of Brooklyn is seeking all level automotive technicians to advance their careers in a fully updated shop for Audi vehicles. We welcome Master, Experienced and new technicians aiming to grow and obtain ASE certifications in the Audi brand.

Responsibilities include performing repairs per repair orders, test-driving cars, diagnosing systems with OEM tools, and communicating with the Service Advisor about required services and time estimates.

Qualifications

• Dealership experience preferred; ASE credits are a plus.
• Must have automotive technical school certificate.
• ASE certificates in Audi family a plus.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean record.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Team player with ability to learn new procedures.

Entry‑Level Service Technician ~ Experienced Service Technician ~ Master Service Technician

Your Daily Work Schedule:

• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test‑drives vehicles and tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed and provides an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Qualities we’re looking for:

• Experience at an automotive dealership.
• Automotive Technical School certificate.
• ASE Certificates in the Audi family of vehicles are a plus.
• Strong understanding of the service drive.
• Years of experience vary per position.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and excellent hand‑eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic computer competencies.
• Positive, friendly attitude along with a customer service mentality.
• You are open to constructivefeedback to improveyour performance and development.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate with others effectively.
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willing to submit to a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
