Job summary

Bridgestone Americas in Kent, OH is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles within our fast-paced service team.

You'll work under experienced techs, learn hands-on skills, perform oil changes, brake and tire service, and aim for ASE certifications within two years. We provide paid vacation and holidays, day-one benefits, and a competitive flat-rate pay structure.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must hold a valid automobile driver's license.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance including oil changes and tire repair.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications in at least one area (A1–A8) within two years; company covers tests/fees.
