Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is hiring an Automotive Technician to join our retail operations team. You will learn and perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance tasks under guidance from experienced technicians, addressing a range of automotive systems and services to ensure high-quality workmanship.

You may interact with customers to explain repairs and provide exceptional service. The role offers flat-rate pay, a competitive benefits package, and opportunities for ASE certification and career growth

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and tire repair services including oil changes and tire repair.
• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• 2 years automotive repair experience or related Vocational-Technical School program (preferred).
• ASE certification or equivalent training (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
