Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Nashville, Tennessee seeks an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles under supervision, with hands-on learning in a fast-paced service environment.

You will contribute to routine inspections, tire services and repairs, and customer communication, while pursuing ASE certifications. The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, safety, and high-quality workmanship within the BSRO team.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and tire repair services.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications within 2 years; costs covered; bonus per passed test.
