Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. seeks an Automotive Technician to learn and perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance tasks under experienced technicians. You will engage in routine inspections, assist in repair procedures, and communicate with customers about services.

The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to earn through a flat-rate pay model and pursue ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical tasks knowledge and ability to learn new procedures.
• Proficiency in oil changes, tire repair basics, and vehicle inspections.
• Must have a valid driver's license and basic math/reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications within first two years (fees paid by company).
