Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Kentucky is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles under supervision of experienced technicians. You’ll perform oil changes, tire maintenance, and inspections, with opportunities to obtain ASE certifications and advance within a fast-paced team.

This role offers a flat-rate pay model with pay range of $18.38–$27.62 per hour, plus benefits starting day 1, paid vacation and holidays, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license at all times.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: oil changes, basic inspections, repairing tires.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment; tests and fees paid by company; bonuses for tests passed.
