Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our service team. You will learn and perform vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance under guidance from experienced technicians in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role includes performing oil changes, tire service, and inspections, with opportunities to earn ASE certifications. A valid driver's license and basic mechanical aptitude are required for this hands-on position at our location.

Qualifications

  • Basic mechanical tasks are to be learned on the job.
  • Fundamental automotive maintenance and tire repair knowledge.
  • Able to read and follow maintenance instructions and measurements.

Responsibilities

  • Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
  • Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
  • Install batteries and check electrical systems.
  • Perform tire maintenance and install parts.
  • Road test vehicles.
  • Pursue ASE certifications within first two years of employment (tests and registrations fees paid by company).
