Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in a fast-paced retail service environment. You will learn under experienced technicians, perform routine inspections, and assist customers by explaining repair procedures and providing high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include oil changes, tire maintenance, electrical system checks, and road testing.

Qualifications

• Learn basic mechanical tasks under supervision.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and tire repair services.
• Reading, writing and math skills required.
• 2 years automotive repair experience or related certification preferred.
• A.S.E. certification or equivalent training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and related services.
• Install parts and road test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications within two years of employment.
