Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is seeking an Automotive Technician in Firestone, CO to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles under supervision. You will learn hands-on tasks, interact with customers to explain procedures, and contribute to high‑quality workmanship in a fast‑paced environment.

The role supports growth through on‑the‑job training and ASE certifications. Pay is hourly with a flat‑rate model; benefits begin immediately for eligible teammates.

Qualifications

• Must have valid automobile driver’s license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair services including oil changes, basic inspections, and repairing tires.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Willingness to obtain ASE certifications.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least one of A1 – A8 within the first two years of employment. Tests and registration fees are paid for by the company; a bonus is awarded for each test passed.
