Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our service team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will learn and perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on a variety of vehicles under supervision, with opportunities to advance and obtain ASE certifications.

The role offers flat-rate pay, with a base range aligned to regional productivity, and a benefits package including health, paid time off, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license.
• Reading, writing and math skills required.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair services.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications within two years; fees covered by the company; bonus per passed test.
