Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in a fast-paced retail setting. You will learn hands-on under experienced techs, address various automotive systems, and interact with customers to explain repairs and provide service.

Pay ranges from $21.00 to $31.56 per hour, with a flat-rate pay model rewarding efficiency. Opportunities to advance ASE certifications and grow within a large, diverse team are available.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license and be able to drive vehicles.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance including oil changes, inspections and tire repair.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications within two years (tests/fees covered).
