Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, operating as Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO), seeks an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles in a fast-paced retail service environment. You will learn under senior technicians, perform scheduled services, inspections, tire work, and interact with customers to explain repairs.

The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Valid automobile driver's license at all times.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and tire repair services including oil changes, basic inspections, and tire repair.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and rotate tires as needed.
• Install parts and perform basic repairs.
• Road test vehicles after service and repair.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; company pays test fees.
