Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. seeks an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in a fast paced shop.

You’ll learn under seasoned technicians, handle routine inspections, and explain repairs to customers while delivering high-quality workmanship. The role offers a flat-rate pay model, a $3,000 sign-on bonus for state inspection certified candidates, and room to grow through ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Valid automobile driver's license at all times and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• General automotive maintenance including oil changes and tire repair.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts and road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years.
