Job summary

Bridgestone Americas in the United States is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our fast-paced service team. You will learn and perform basic diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work under supervision, with the goal of delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service in a busy shop environment.

This entry-level role includes hands-on training, opportunities to obtain ASE certifications, and a flat-rate pay model based on regional productivity.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Valid automobile driver's license at all times; ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair services including oil changes, basic inspections, and repairing tires.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Pursue A.S.E. certifications in at least one area (A1–A8) within two years; tests and fees paid by company; bonus paid for each test passed.
