Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations, part of Bridgestone Americas, is hiring an Automotive Technician in the United States. You will diagnose drivability and electrical systems and lead a team toward high customer care, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus for those with State Inspection certifications.

The role emphasizes skill in brakes, hydraulics, and advanced diagnostics, with a performance-based, flat-rate pay model and opportunities for ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Valid automobile driver’s license required.
• Minimum 2 years automotive repair experience or completion of a related Vocational-Technical program.
• A.S.E certification in at least one of A1–A8 preferred; equivalent training considered.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to non‑mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Pursue A.S.E. certifications (three of A1–A8) within two years; tests paid by the company; bonus per test passed.
