Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations in Kentucky is seeking an Automotive Technician to learn and perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance tasks under guidance. You’ll inspect steering, suspension, and brakes, change oil, test electrical systems, and service tires, while delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced shop.

Required: valid driver’s license and the ability to drive customer and company vehicles; willingness to pursue ASE certification within two years.

Qualifications

• Learn basic mechanical tasks and automotive service procedures.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and drive customer/company vehicles.
• Perform oil changes, tire repair, basic inspections and tire maintenance.
• Prepare and interpret basic written instructions and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and related services.
• Install parts and components as required.
• Road test vehicles to ensure proper operation.
• Pursue ASE certifications within first two years of employment; tests & fees are company-funded.
