Job summary

The Automotive Technician at Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is a pivotal member of our service team, learning and performing diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance under guidance from senior technicians. You will interact with customers to explain repairs and ensure high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

We offer flat-rate pay, ASE certification support, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and operate PM tools.
  • Must have a valid driver's license to drive customer and company vehicles.
  • Reading, writing, and math skills are required.
  • Preferred: ASE certification or equivalent training/experience.

Responsibilities

  • Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
  • Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
  • Install batteries and check electrical systems.
  • Perform tire maintenance and related services.
  • Install parts and components as needed.
  • Road test vehicles to verify repairs and performance.
  • Pursue ASE certifications within two years; fees are covered by the company.

Skills

Ability to learn mechanical tasks

2 years automotive repair experience

Education

ASE certification or equivalent
