Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Albany, NY is hiring an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) to perform essential repairs on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles. You’ll conduct oil changes, tire and brake work, and routine maintenance to ensure safety and vehicle readiness.

You’ll assist senior technicians, expand your ASE knowledge, and enjoy on-the-job training, paid time off, and benefits. This is an on-site role requiring a valid license and physical work capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional auto repair experience or automotive coursework with certifications.
• At least 1 ASE certification, with ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
• Working knowledge of ASE areas including Engine Repair, Drivetrain/Axles, Suspension/Brakes, Electrical, HVAC, Engine Performance, and Diesel.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential mechanical repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles.
• Oil and fluid services, tire repairs, brake work, suspension repairs, and other routine maintenance.
• Support senior technicians with more complex diagnostic and repair work.
