Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Erlanger, KY is hiring an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) to maintain a diverse fleet of newer vehicles and perform essential repairs. You’ll handle oil changes, tire work, brakes, suspension, and routine maintenance with limited supervision while supporting senior technicians.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license and at least one ASE certification, with the possibility to earn two more within the first year.

Qualifications

• 2 years of professional auto repair experience or automotive coursework with certifications.
• At least 1 ASE certification, with ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• On-site work only; cannot be performed remotely.
• OEM experience preferred and considered a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential mechanical repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles with minimal supervision (oil/ fluid services, tire repairs, brakes, suspension).
• Support senior technicians with diagnostic and repair work as skills develop; maintain vehicle reliability and safety to minimize downtime.
