This position is part of the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) designed to help Veterans transition into the automotive industry. Apprentices will gain hands-on experience and complete a one-year program leading to Kia Service Technician certification. Candidates should have an honorable discharge and relevant mechanical skills. Full-time employment included with opportunities for a Monthly Housing Allowance during the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Must have an honorable discharge from U.S. Military service.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including engines and transmissions.
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics using Kia procedures.
• Test drive vehicles to verify repair quality.
