CJ’s Tire and Auto is seeking a trainee automotive technician to perform tire services, battery installations, oil changes, and multi-point inspections, while learning to work independently with guidance from the team.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and teamwork in a fast-paced shop environment. Training leads toward becoming a skilled technician with experience across automotive maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history and reliable transportation.
• Able to bend, stoop, kneel and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Able to adapt to severe climate variances.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stress professionally.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire services, battery installations, oil changes, maintenance services, and multi-point inspections; notes conditions on vehicles.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.
• Works with fellow associates as a team to provide exceptional customer service.
• Performs any additional duties as assigned by the store manager.
