CJ’s Tire & Automotive in Whitehall, PA is seeking an entry-level trainee automotive technician to gain hands-on knowledge in tire and automotive services. The role focuses on learning company policies and procedures while working toward independent performance.

The trainee will perform tire services, battery installations, oil changes, and routine maintenance, aiming to develop skills to operate with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stress professionally.
Must complete pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

Performs tire services, battery installations, and oil changes.
Performs maintenance services and multi-point inspections.
Notates conditions observed on vehicles during service.
Collaborate with fellow associates to provide excellent customer service.
Follow store manager’s directions for additional duties.
