Job summary

GLS North America is seeking motivated Retrofit Technicians to join our automotive services team. In this role, you’ll learn basic repairs, assist with part removals, and gain hands-on experience under experienced team leads.

Starting pay is $18/hour during training, with progression to $20–$25/hour after certification. We offer weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, a tool set on start, and opportunities to travel for exclusive events.

What You’ll Do

• Work alongside experienced Retrofit Technician Team Leads to learn and perform basic automotive repairs.
• Assist with part removals, installations, and vehicle modifications.
• Learn how to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using advanced tools.
• Support programming and module reconfiguration processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow all safety procedures.
• Participate in team safety meetings and technical training sessions.
• Demonstrate Suburban Automotive Services’ DRIVEN values and contribute to our mission of excellence.

What You Bring

• A strong passion for cars and hands‑on mechanical work.
• Eagerness to learn and grow under the mentorship of seasoned technicians.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic mechanical aptitude or hands‑on experience (preferred but not required).
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Valid Driver's License with an adequate driving record.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to work hard.
• Must meet company background check and drug screen requirements
