FOLINE AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE INC is seeking an Automotive Technician to join its dealership service center. You will diagnose and repair vehicles and work with the dealership's computer software, applying extensive knowledge of vehicle systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• An associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred.
• ASE/SAE certification preferred; strong customer service and communications skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Use diagnostics to evaluate vehicle malfunction codes.
• Help establish service center procedures for tracking repair status and documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements.
• Conduct in-depth inspections of engine, transmission, and brakes.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Communicate repair information clearly to customers.

As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles. You must be comfortable using the dealership's computer software and have extensive knowledge of vehicle systems.

• Use your expertise and diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle malfunction codes

• Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements
• Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes

• Convey necessary vehicle repair information to customers in a clear and concise manner
