HUDSON AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR & SERVICE is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our dealership service center. You will diagnose and repair vehicles, using dealership software and extensive knowledge of vehicle systems to ensure quality work.

A “never give up” attitude is valued as you problem-solve to find the best customer solution. Strong communication with customers and teammates is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• An associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred.
• ASE/SAE certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle malfunction codes.
• Help establish service center procedures for tracking repairs and maintaining documentation.
• Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements.
• Conduct thorough inspections of engines, transmissions, brakes, and other systems.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Clearly communicate repair information to customers.

Job Summary

We are looking for an Automotive Technician to join our successful dealership service center.

As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles. You must be comfortable using the dealership’s computer software and have extensive knowledge of vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

• Use your expertise and diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle malfunction codes
• Assist with establishing service center procedures for tracking repair status, maintaining technical documentation, and other necessary protocols
• Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements
• Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business
• Convey necessary vehicle repair information to customers in a clear and concise manner

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required
• An associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred
• Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification is preferred
• Strong customer service and communications skills are required
