Anthony Auto Corp. in Columbia Heights, MN, is hiring experienced A-Level and B-Level automotive technicians for a broad mix of maintenance and mechanical repair work. The shop is a six-bay, heated facility with Autel, VAG-COM/VCDS, ODIS and more.

A-Level requires 5+ years of experience; B-Level requires 3+ years. Pay is flat-rate per flagged hour with guaranteed minimums and a two-week pay period. PTO and six paid holidays are provided.

Automotive Technician | $55-$65/Flag Hr | 8-4, No Weekends

Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. No weekends.
Flat-rate production pay with a guaranteed minimum hourly rate.
3 weeks (120 hours) of PTO annually, plus six paid holidays.

Anthony Auto Corp. is hiring experienced A-Level and B-Level technicians. We’re an independent repair shop with a broad mix of maintenance and mechanical repair work.

Pay

• A-Level: $65 per flagged hour, with a guaranteed minimum rate of $40 per actual clock hour worked. Estimated annual earnings: approximately $83,000-$135,000.

• B-Level: $55 per flagged hour, with a guaranteed minimum rate of $30 per actual clock hour worked. Estimated annual earnings: approximately $62,500-$114,000.

For each two-week pay period, we compare your flagged production earnings with your guaranteed hourly rate multiplied by your actual clock hours worked. You receive the higher amount for your hours worked. If flagged production is low, the guaranteed rate protects your pay.

PTO and holiday hours are paid at your applicable guaranteed hourly rate. Pay is issued every two weeks.

Annual earnings ranges are estimates based on the pay plan and production assumptions. Actual earnings vary with hours worked and production. The guaranteed hourly rate does not guarantee an annual earnings amount.

The work

Approximately 70% of the vehicles we service are European, with significant Audi and BMW work. We also service domestic and Asian vehicles and perform used-car reconditioning for dealers. Repairs range from oil changes and routine maintenance to engine replacement, electrical work, and drivability concerns.

• A-Level — minimum 5 years of technician experience: Handle general and advanced mechanical repairs, electrical and drivability troubleshooting, and intermediate diagnostics. Diagnostics represent approximately 10-20% of the workload.

• B-Level — minimum 3 years of technician experience: Handle maintenance, inspections, general repair, and component replacement, with electrical and drivability work appropriate to your skill level. Diagnostics represent less than 10% of the workload.

Both levels complete accurate repairs and document findings and work using Tekmetric and digital vehicle inspections.

The shop and tools

Our heated shop has six bays, four lifts, and an alignment rack. Bays and lifts are shared. Equipment includes Autel, VAG-COM/VCDS, ODIS, and other specialty tools.

Bring your normal personal hand tools. We supply specialty tools, diagnostic equipment, computers, and electronics. Experienced shop leadership provides informal, hands-on training and support with unfamiliar repairs.

What we’re looking for

Strong general repair skills and diagnostic ability appropriate to your level. Audi/BMW experience and ASE certifications are preferred, not required.
