Promotive seeks experienced A-Level and B-Level Automotive Technicians to join a family-owned shop in Newton, NJ. The role offers weekly pay, overtime opportunities, company-paid training, and benefits while servicing a diverse range of vehicles.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years for A-Level or 3+ years for B-Level, with strong diagnostic and repair skills. ASE credentials are preferred; teamwork and a solid work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automotive repair experience with advanced diagnostic skills.
• 3+ years of automotive repair experience with strong mechanical repair skills.
• Experience performing steering, suspension, brake, tire, and alignment services.
• ASE certifications preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair domestic, Asian, European, and fleet vehicles.
• Perform diagnostics, mechanical repairs, maintenance, steering, suspension, brake, tire, and alignment services based on experience level.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and repair information to identify vehicle concerns.
• Complete repairs from diagnosis through quality control.
• Accurately document repairs and communicate findings with the service team.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
