Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is seeking an Automotive Technician in Reno, NV to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles within our Bridgestone Retail Operations team. You will learn and perform routine inspections, assist in repairs, and communicate with customers about repair procedures while delivering high-quality workmanship.

The role offers a flat-rate pay model with a pay range of $21.00–$32.81 per hour, and opportunities to earn through performance while meeting minimum wage requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: oil changes, basic inspections, repairing tires.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment (tests and fees paid by company; bonus for each test passed).
