Job Description:
The Technician role is full-time or part-time and involves conducting basic vehicle diagnostics and performing routine vehicle repairs and maintenance according to company standards and manufacturer specifications. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional 5-star customer service through effective communication, timely service, and quality work.

Responsibilities include:

1. Performing basic vehicle diagnostics to identify required repairs.
2. Completing Monro’s Courtesy Inspection on every guest vehicle, documenting and communicating additional services needed, and auditing inspections by other technicians.
3. Assisting in inventory management, including pulling tires and parts, and stocking inventory.
4. Maintaining store cleanliness and ensuring it is guest-ready.
5. Performing services in compliance with safety standards, including wheel torque and oil safety procedures.
6. Testing vehicles according to policy, using designated test routes, while adhering to traffic and safety laws.
7. Following company policies, governmental standards, and safety procedures.
8. Maintaining technical knowledge through training and certifications.
9. Operating and maintaining equipment safely.
10. Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Automotive training or equivalent experience.
3. ASE certification and State Inspection license preferred.
4. Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report.
5. Own basic tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.

Additional Information:

Work environment includes exposure to noise, weather, chemicals, and physical demands such as lifting up to 75 lbs., standing, and reaching. Flexibility to work various hours is required.
