Position Summary

The Automotive Technician position requires your experience and technical expertise to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while demonstrating leadership and mentoring skills to enhance customer care and satisfaction.

Pay Range: $19.55 - $29.33

Our technicians enjoy a performance-based compensation model known as flat-rate pay. This system rewards skilled professionals with a predetermined amount for each eligible task, promoting efficiency and ensuring fair compensation for your expertise and dedication.

Responsibilities
  • Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
  • Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
  • Install batteries and check electrical systems.
  • Perform tire maintenance.
  • Install parts.
  • Road test vehicles.
  • Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications within the first two years of employment (company covers testing and registration fees; technicians receive bonuses for each test passed).
Minimum Qualifications
  • Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
  • Valid automobile driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
  • Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and tire repair services, including oil changes, inspections, and tire repairs.
  • Reading, writing, and math skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years of automotive repair experience or completion of a vocational-technical program in a related field, or demonstrated skills via third-party certifications.
  • A.S.E. certification or equivalent external qualifications.
