Qualifications

• PA State Inspection Certification is required.
• Strong time management and ability to work independently.
• Comfortable with all makes and models and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair as directed, performing maintenance as needed.
• Conduct emissions inspections and safety checks per state requirements.
• Perform brakes, suspension, tires, and routine automotive repairs.
• Communicate clearly with the service leader and advisor on repairs.
• Maintain accurate vehicle records of services and repairs.

A Day in the Life of an Automotive Technician (but not limited to):

• Diagnosis and repair and accurately perform all repairs and maintenance
• Execute emissions inspections, safety checks, and similar state-regulated vehicle examinations
• Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and all manner of automotive repairs, that you are tasked and qualified to perform.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with the group leader and service advisor on recommended repairs and maintenance
• Preserve vehicle records by recording all services and repairs performed and recommended
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment

Qualifications

• PA State Inspection Certification Required
• Comfortability with all makes and models of vehicles
• Valid Drivers License
• Time Management and the ability to work independently
• Physical demands include lifting 50+lbs with an extended period of time standing, sitting, and kneeling throughout the workday
