Job Description: The Technician role is full-time or part-time, hourly-based, responsible for basic vehicle diagnostics and routine maintenance, delivering 5-star service through effective communication and meeting guest expectations.

Salary Range: $16.00 to $24.00 per hour, plus incentives.

Responsibilities include:

1. Perform vehicle diagnostics and identify required repairs.
2. Complete Courtesy Inspections and communicate additional services needed.
3. Assist in inventory management and store duties.
4. Perform services adhering to safety standards.
5. Test drive vehicles following safety policies.
6. Follow company policies, safety, and environmental standards.
7. Maintain technical knowledge through training.
8. Operate and maintain equipment safely.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Automotive training or experience.
3. Preferred ASE certification and State Inspection license.
4. Valid driver’s license with a good MVR.
5. Own basic tools or participate in Monro’s tool program.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements: Automotive shop environment with exposure to noise, weather, chemicals, and physical activity including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, and reaching.
