Job summary

Team Car Care West, LLC in Grand Island, NE seeks an Automotive Technician to service vehicles, perform brake and routine maintenances, and ensure high guest satisfaction. Training programs will certify you to handle lubrication tasks, brakes, and tires with precision.

You will use shop software to provide estimates, work with trusted parts suppliers, and contribute to a clean, safe service center while promoting teamwork and timely guest care.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of automotive experience.
• ASE Brakes certification or ASE Engine Performance/Suspension & Steering/Electrical preferred.
• Automotive trade school degree preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete disc or drum brake service and related repairs.
• Diagnose braking system, engine performance, suspension/steering, electrical, and HVAC issues.
• Use computer systems to estimate parts and labor (All DATA, AutoZone, O'Reilly, etc.).
• Road-test vehicles before and after repairs to ensure quality and safety.
• Provide clear communication and excellent guest service during service operations.

Join us and become an essential part of delivering exceptional service to our guests.HOW YOU WILL DRIVE SUCCESS:Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during all operating hoursDemonstrate excellent guest service, which includes providing clear communication and feedback about guest vehiclesEnsure that the service center, specifically their workstation, is clean and presentableMust be able to perform complete disc or drum brake service including, but not limited to replacing all braking components as well as performing full brake flushesMust be knowledgeable and understand the whole mechanics of the braking system, including the servicing process and must be able to answer questions from the customerMust be able to diagnose and pinpoint issues in the braking systemMust be able to diagnose the following vital components and potentially make all necessary repairs such as Engine Performance, Suspension/Steering, Electrical, Heating AC, etc.Ability to use our current computer system to provide estimates for parts and labor.
