Team Car Care East, LLC (US) in Commack, NY is hiring an Automotive Technician to service vehicles, perform lubrication, brakes, and tires, and deliver a high-quality guest experience in a full-time role. Comprehensive training leads to certification across a broad range of mechanical tasks.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of automotive experience.
• 1-2 years of experience working on brake systems.
• ASE A5 - Brakes certification; ASE certifications in Engine Performance, Suspension & Steering, Electrical Systems, Heating & A/C preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive trade school degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete disc or drum brake service including replacing all components and brake flushes.
• Diagnose braking, engine performance, suspension, electrical, heating and AC issues and communicate findings.
• Use computer systems to provide estimates for parts and labor (All DATA, AutoZone, O'Reilly, NAPA, etc.).
• Road-test vehicles before and after service to ensure standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, safe and presentable workstation.
