Job summary

Hertz is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our maintenance team. You will perform preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and inspections on fleet vehicles at our Hertz Rent-A-Car location.

Compensation includes $21.00 per hour with a median incentive of about $288 per month, dependent on performance. A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, plus at least 1 year of vehicle maintenance experience and a valid driver’s license.

Wage

The Automotive Technician is the second level within the Hertz Corporation for our maintenance team. In this role you will be performing preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and inspection.

Educational Background

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Professional Experience

• At minimum one (1) years of vehicle maintenance experience
• Preferred prior experience with automotive repair (personal or professional)

Knowledge

• Must be able to perform vehicle repairs with oversight
• Ability to use shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools

• Must have tools to perform necessary repairs
• Must have a Valid Driver's License
