Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Repair engine, mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and body damage as needed.
• Test drives to verify serviceability and adjust controls.
• Ensure compliance with state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.
• Maintain vehicle appearance and records of services.
• Keep shop equipment running by following procedures and ordering parts.
• Contain costs by using warranty and evaluating service and parts options.
• Pursue ongoing education by reading technical publications.
