Job summary

Bird Family Tire and Auto LLC is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our busy shop in Temecula, CA. If you have a “never give up” attitude and enjoy solving problems to find the best solution for the customer, we want to hear from you.

The role involves performing routine maintenance, inspections, and high-quality repairs, with focus on customer satisfaction and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. A valid CA driver’s license and 2+ years of experience are required or preferred through ASE

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• ASE certification is preferred, not required.
• Valid California driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of automotive technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements.
• Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Convey necessary vehicle repair information to the service manager.
• Complete services to meet quality standards.
• Inspect, top off, or replace all fluids, filters, and maintenance-related components.
• Swap out tires, plug tires, replace and program TPMS sensors.
• Keep vehicles clean during all service and repair procedures.
• Comply with all safety, environmental, and shop policies.
• Maintain an organized and tidy work area.
• Perform other duties as required. Good work ethic, team player, must be able to work in a fast pace environment. Opportunity to grow and learn more skills in a trade that is in high demand.
