Job summary

LINVILLE REPAIR COMPANY INC in Sacramento, California is seeking an Automotive Technician to join their successful automotive repair shop. In this position, you'll diagnose and repair vehicles while ensuring customer satisfaction. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, and ideally have certifications in automotive service.

Applicants should be comfortable using shop computer software and have extensive knowledge of vehicle systems. A passion for problem-solving is a must as you will be responsible for delivering excellent service and conducting routine vehicle maintenance.

Qualifications

Job Summary

We are looking for an Automotive Technician to join our successful automotive repair shop.

As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles. You must be comfortable using the shops computer software and have extensive knowledge of vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

• Use your expertise and diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle malfunction codes
• Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements
• Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required
• Completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred
• Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification is preferred
• Strong customer service and communications skills are required
