Job summary

Honesty Automotive Repairs is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles in our service center. You will be proficient with dealership software and have broad knowledge of vehicle systems.

A can-do attitude and problem-solving mindset are essential to deliver the best customer solutions. You will perform diagnostic evaluations, routine maintenance, and thorough inspections, while maintaining clear communication with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program preferred.
• ASE certification or SAE certification preferred.
• Strong customer service and communications skills required.

Responsibilities

• Use your expertise and diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle malfunction codes
• Assist with establishing service center procedures for tracking repair status, maintaining technical documentation, and other necessary protocols
• Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements
• Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business
• Convey necessary vehicle repair information to customers in a clear and concise manner

As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles. You must be comfortable using the dealership’s computer software and have extensive knowledge of vehicle systems.
