Job summary

Seattle MINI, part of Scharmach Automotive Group, seeks an automotive technician to diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns on MINI vehicles, perform routine maintenance, and repair major components to factory specifications.

The role requires at least 2 years of automotive repair experience, proficiency with diagnostic tools, a valid Washington driver's license, and the ability to work in a fast-paced shop while maintaining high-quality, well-documented work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in automotive repair and maintenance.
• Proficient with automotive diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems.
• Valid Washington State driver license with clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns on MINI vehicles using factory diagnostic tools and software.
• Perform maintenance such as oil services, brakes, tire rotations, and fluid services.
• Repair or replace major components, including engines, transmissions, and suspension, to MINI/BMW Group specifications.
• Record video multipoint inspections following our department process.
• Document all work clearly, including diagnostic findings, repairs completed, and parts used.
• Communicate with service advisors about findings, repair timelines, and costs.
• Follow all safety and environmental standards.
• Keep current on MINI factory training and certifications.

Job Details: Job Location: Seattle MINI - Seattle, WA 98125, Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time, Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $190,000.00 Base+Commission/year, Seattle MINI is part of Scharmach Automotive Group, alongside BMW Northwest and Tacoma MINI. We're looking for a technician who wants to grow with the MINI brand, get factory training, and work in a shop that values clean, documented, high-quality work.

Pay range is $50,000 to $190,000/yr

What You'll Do
