Job summary

Team Car Care East, LLC (US) seeks an Automotive Technician at our Seaford, NY location to service guests' vehicles with a focus on brakes, brakes-related diagnostics, and general mechanical work.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of automotive experience.
• 1-2 years of experience working on brake systems.
• ASE A5 Brakes Certification.
• ASE certifications in Engine performance, Suspension & Steering, Electrical Systems, Heating & Air Conditioning preferred.
• Automotive technical or trade school degree a plus; high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during all operating hours.
• Provide excellent guest service with clear communication and updates about guest vehicles.
• Maintain a clean and presentable workstation in the service center.
• Perform complete disc or drum brake service including replacing braking components and full brake flushes.
• Diagnose issues in braking systems and related vehicle components; assist with other repairs as needed.
• Diagnose engine performance, suspension/steering, electrical, and heating/AC issues; communicate findings to customers.
• Use the current computer system to provide estimates for parts and labor (All DATA, AutoZone, O’Reilly, NAPA, etc.).
• Road-test vehicles before and after service to ensure work meets standards.
