At Midas, we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in inspection, diagnosis, and repair, utilizing the expertise attained through ASE Certifications and/or years of automotive repair experience.

We are looking for automotive technicians/mechanics who can work independently and collaboratively. Our full-service facility seeks technicians to help us create an environment of success.

Seeking a seasoned technician with 15+ years of experience who can also serve as a mentor to others.

Although we are a franchised Midas store, we operate with an independent shop mentality, offering dealership-quality service without dealership costs. We have the latest equipment and a fully renovated shop.

Responsibilities

As a Midas automotive technician, you'll perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance, including:

• Diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems
• Tire repair and replacement
• Car heating and air conditioning
• Steering and suspension
• Belt and hose replacement
• Radiator and cooling systems
• Batteries, starting, and charging systems
• Brake systems and repairs
• Oil changes
• Check engine light diagnostics
• Mufflers and exhaust services
• Visual safety and courtesy inspections

Qualifications

• Ability to repair vehicles independently and in a team environment
• Knowledge of brakes, exhaust, suspension, and engine diagnostics
• High personal productivity
• Adherence to safety and environmental standards
• Experience with shop equipment such as lifts, tire changers, alignment machines, and scan tools
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred
• State-specific auto repair certifications
• Valid driver's license
• Own tools/equipment; diagnostic tools preferred
• Ability to service both foreign and domestic vehicles

Signing bonus and relocation assistance provided for outstanding candidates. Opportunities for bonuses.

Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour.
