Job summary

CarShop in Cranberry Twp, PA is hiring Automotive Technicians for a high-volume service department. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to CarShop’s exacting standards, contributing to consistent workflow and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of Automotive Technician experience required.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• State Inspection and Emissions License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning.
• Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately.
• Complete troubleshooting, inspections, and diagnostic testing.
• Provide labor estimates and repair recommendations.
• Communicate findings clearly with service advisors and management.
• Stay current with evolving automotive technology and repair procedures.

What You’ll Do

As an Automotive Technician, you’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles while ensuring every repair meets CarShop’s high standards for quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning systems
• Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately
• Complete troubleshooting, inspections, and diagnostic testing
• Provide labor estimates and repair recommendations
• Communicate findings clearly with service advisors and management
• Propose practical and cost-effective solutions to vehicle and process-related issues
• Ensure repairs are completed correctly the first time
• Road test vehicles when necessary to verify repair quality
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Stay current with evolving automotive technology and repair procedures

What We’re Looking For

• 2-5 years of Automotive Technician experience required
• ASE Certification preferred
• State Inspection and Emissions License preferred
• Strong diagnostic and repair abilities
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, alignment systems, tire equipment, and A/C service equipment
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding production goals
• Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Team-oriented, flexible, and focused on delivering a high level of customer service
• Positive attitude and commitment to quality workmanship
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and stay up to date with rapidly changing automotive technology
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including background and drug testing
