Madison Motorsports in Perrysburg, Ohio is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair a range of vehicles, with a strong emphasis on European makes. You will use scan tools and wiring diagrams to identify issues, perform electrical and mechanical repairs, and communicate findings to the service team.

• Diagnose difficult and intermittent vehicle problems.

• Consult service information, wiring diagrams and procedures.
• Perform thorough inspections and quality-control checks.
• Communicate findings and repair recommendations with the service team.
• Complete repairs correctly and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace.

AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN | Madison Motorsports - Perrysburg, Ohio

Madison Motorsports is a family-owned and operated automotive repair shop in Perrysburg, Ohio. We specialize in European vehicles while servicing all makes and models. Our work ranges from routine maintenance to longer diagnostics and performance modifications.

We're looking for someone who can confidently, diagnose a vehicle and perform the repairs necessary to the vehicle. We make an effort to match jobs with each technician’s individual strengths and areas of expertise. For example, if you've worked with domestic vehicles, we try to keep domestic vehicles as your workflow.

Responsibilities Include

• Diagnose difficult and intermittent vehicle problems and not guess...
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs
• Perform brake, suspension, steering, cooling, HVAC, and drivability repairs
• Use professional scan tools and diagnostic equipment
• Use service information, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer procedures
• Perform thorough inspections and quality-control checks
• Communicate findings and repair recommendations efficiently with the service team
• Complete repairs correctly and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace and appearance

European vehicle experience is highly preferred. BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, Volvo, and other European brands make up more than half of our work.

The ideal candidate:

• Has a clean driving record
• Is comfortable using scan tools and service information
• Can read and understand wiring diagrams

Mon - Thurs: 8am - 5pm

Friday: 8am - 4pm
