Job summary

EuroComp Garage in Tempe, AZ is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team, working on European brands and high-performance builds.

You will diagnose using factory-level software, perform maintenance, and repair electrical and drivetrain systems, while documenting findings for service advisors and customers.

We offer a full-time role in a growing shop with opportunities to work on enthusiast vehicles and stay current with ADAS and hybrid technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience with European vehicles (Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, VW) is advantageous.
• Strong diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical repair skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using factory-level software and tools.
• Conduct routine maintenance services including brakes, fluids, suspension, tires, and general mechanical work.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems, drivetrains, suspension components, and performance systems.
• Interpret wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Record technician videos to communicate vehicle condition and required repairs.
• Maintain thorough documentation for service advisors and customers.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and collaborate with the team.
• Stay up to date on ADAS, hybrid systems, and performance software/hardware.

Job OverviewEuroComp Garage is seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic ability, solid mechanical experience, and an interest in working with European and performance-oriented platforms. You will work on everything from routine maintenance to complex repairs and high-end performance builds.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using factory-level software and tools; identify faults and recommend accurate repair solutions.
• Conduct routine maintenance services including brakes, fluid services, suspension repairs, tires, and general mechanical work.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems, drivetrain components, suspension systems, and performance-related systems.
• Interpret wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform detailed vehicle inspections, identify maintenance needs, and provide clear documentation for service advisors and customers.
• Record technician videos to visually communicate vehicle condition, required repairs, and inspection findings.
• Maintain thorough, professional documentation of all diagnostic and repair processes, ensuring customers understand the work performed, the reasoning behind repairs, and any additional findings.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and collaborate effectively with the team.
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies, including ADAS, hybrid systems, and performance software/hardware.

Experience & Qualifications

• European dealership or specialty shop experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong proficiency in diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical repair.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and factory-level software.
• Performance modification experience is a plus (turbo systems, fueling, tuning, suspension, etc.).
• Welding or auto-body experience is beneficial but not required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with European vehicles (Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, VW, etc.) is highly advantageous.
